54 bottles of drinking water (108 liters in total) equals to the volume of two people (my friend and I), since the water fulfills the tank at both situation.

Beginning with Thales Hypothesis about the nature of all matter—that the originating principle of nature was a single material substance: water, the relationship between human and water is quite intimate.

Water is one of major importance to all living things. Not only the planet we live made up most by water, but up to 60% of the human adult body is water. The brain and heart are composed of 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water. The skin contains 64% water, muscles and kidneys are 79%, and even the bones are watery: 31%. (H.H. Mitchell, Journal of Biological Chemistry 158)

Pipeline water and drinking water is two kinds of water that we contact the most in daily life. Same substance but separating by thin layer of plastic bottle in the tub. As a modern water-container, plastic bottles quickly became popular in the early 1950s, due to their lightweight nature and relatively low production and transportation costs. However, the great invention also carry bunch of health and environmental issues.

Rather than assuming that earthquakes were the result of supernatural whims, Thales explained them by hypothesizing that the Earth floats on water and that earthquakes occur when the Earth is rocked by waves. Althpough Thales' belief was proven to be wrong by Antoine Lavoisier in A.D. 1769, the saying itself is quite intriguing. The sense of floating in water is inspiring; Archimedes got the Eureka moment when he was in a bath, which developed into a law of physics fundamental to fluid mechanics.

Being in water, as well as floating on water.
